This week is already my 5th week in LHAG, last friday Clinton, Chao Ying and Bryan finishes their internship thus left the firm...thought it will be very quiet after that...
today came a girl named jen ting (duno how to spell her name), from cambridge...so pro...anyway..she will be doing internship there for 1 month...Unfortunately, today is also Kavita (our senior chambering student) last day as well...so sad..she treat all of us so nice...will miss her..
May will be leaving us too on Friday...she is one of the pretty girls in LHAG...she haven't finish her chambering though but she wanted to stop half way and continue her Master's in LSC. so pro...
Chee Hong will be leaving on 7th Aug, kennie will be leaving on 16th aug...melissa will be leaving on 19th aug...all of them are really good ppl... u guys made my working days memorable.
I myself have 3 weeks left in LHAG...never regret working here...i know, the workload is heavy.,but who cares, i have alot of nice friends... :)

on Friday, July 17, 2009When I mean knowing, I mean really speaking and speak like a friend...not just a plain Hi Bye friend...oh well...i know it might be abit late..but after 2 weeks and a half..i finally get to know every of the chambering students in LHAG...u might be wondering how much ppl are there.....not much..its just around 19 now..since a few have left coz their done with their chambering..some advanced to LA.
I know I will be ending my intern there very soon..4 more weeks..so i wanna write down their name...just for my memories...
First, our SENIOR chambering student there
KAVITA : She is an indian girl, will be leaving LHAG on 27th July...earlier than me..haha..she knows everything in LHAG...where are the other chambering students..location...duty, task and others...and she is helpful too... gonna miss her when she left...
CHEE HONG : Our "KING" coz he is the male eldest chambering student, brilliant in his work, always finish his things efficiently....is the current popular man in the litigation team...too bad he didnt plan to stay in LHAG after he ends his chambering on 7th Aug..
You know what? he is recruited by AG to work in the DPP team!! omg...so cool....everyone is hoping he will not be our opponent next time in court..coz we are going to die badly facing him..hahaha...but overall..he is a nice man...with soft words...and often "CAMP" in the firm doing submission...ok..not that serious..only goes back late...
Kennie Ang : the sofe spoken man..haha..he often comes out with funny jokes but his tone of talking is always soft and gentle...His aim is to get the title of TUN ..so that he can be Tun Ang =Tunang!! lol...he is a helpful guy as well..
Wani : A malay girl, friendly and always tease me...a host on a programme aired on TV1... she didnt wanna be a lawyer and will get married this december.
Natasha: A modern malay girl, our so called : malaysia version paris hilton..haha..she is funny, talktative and easy to mix with.. I havent meet many malays nowaday that i wanna talk with.
Brian Sim: A chinese guy with a 'seng mok' look all the time..he is talkative as well, but he always gives ppl the impression that he will settle everything and everything is under control..^^ looking forward to know him more but he seems busy most of the time..
BK : our busy man as well...most of the LA like to find him and give him work to do...Hobby? eat and brings different tie to the office..^^ he is a scholar as well..knows alot of stuff...not to mention, a master in law as well.
Christine : same age with me, but is doing chambering now..damn fast...friendly, talktative and easy to mix around.... :) tomorrow is her birthday..so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINE :) although i know she wont be seeing my blog ..haha...
May Ng : one of the quiet girl in LHAG, just get to talk to her 2 days ago..she usually only talks to ppl whom she is familar with... looks quite pretty but brings ' sha qi' aura around her...^^ anyway..will like to know more abt her as well.... at least for today she ask me whether i wanna go for the 'talk' together...guess i have another friend now than a stranger :)
Josephine : Super Slim girl....gives people the 'good girl' impression...like always kena bully those type..haha..but dont underestimate her...we heard her shouting ' WHAT THE FUCK!!" today in the office today coz she got herself a SAMAN for cutting queue..haha... Overall she is a nice girl, helps me alot when i have problems in translation work.
Hong Ping : quiet guy..didnt talk much.... too bad he was in the hospital doing operation since yesterday...hope he recovers asap.... GET WELL SOON!!! :)
Jin: a helpful girl, one of the active members in LHAG 18th floor..haha...helps everyone most of the time... although she is not the senior..but she is one of the dai ga jie as well..coz she knows alot...seriously alot!! she promise to bring me to legal aid session next time :)
Melissa soon : senior chamby, looks like a 'nu qiang ren' friendly and always gives ppl a feeling that she knows that she is doing....heard she got retain by LHAG as an Associate after she finish her chambering.... so if i go back there for chambering next time, she will be my boss ..hahaha..if so ngam under her..
Jane : My sister in LHAG..i have 2 sisters in LHAG...coz both of them come together on the same date with me..and both of them are elder..so they become my ga jie..haha...jane is also a graduate from northumbria..friendly and easy to mix with...first friend in LHAG.. :)
Chrissie : my dai ga jie, she is a graduate from UKM, first class honour...damn pro...and she knows alot...damn hardworking as well...good thing is, she is friendly and so always teach me whenever i asked her for HELP..haha... i always go kacau her in her office room when i have ntg to do coz i know she is damn boring too...she wanted to join us in 18th floor but her master always 'monitor' her in 17th floor...too bad... Dun wry k jie, lunch time i sure come down find u and ajak u together..haha..
Dave: our 'Partner' haha..he always stop us from calling him that..coz he is just a chambering student as well..but he looks like a partner ..seriously...organise clubbing and dinner night..but nobody wants to go..coz too busy and tired..hahaha..sry dave...
Gaitri : Close friend of Kavita....didnt talk that much ..but people always call her kavita and called kavita gaitri..hahaha...the word kavita and gaitri are not more nouns/names here..but words to describe ..coz they will usually say : U look like a kavita ..or..u look like a gaitri..haha
Jonathan : a guy in coat...good with josephine...^^ didnt have much talk to him..but still..at least he knows my name..i will improve on that...^^

2)The ppl in LHAG, they are friendly, nice and funny....chambering students even had their own 'tradition' there..haha... if only i was paid for working there..i might work for more than 1 and a half month...seriously...

5) weekends, can let me sleep for a few more hours in the morning

on Friday, July 3, 2009Was lepak-ing in 18th floor with the cham-b students and suddenly a call came to our department...John asked me whether i want to take the task or not and i was like..huh? ok...then i take over the phone and a female LA- named Susan Ng ask me to see her in her office for task...
Rush to 17 floor to report to my supervisor (another LA) becoz i will be doing stuff for others first but she was not in. Went straight to Susan and was asked to do translation job immediately for her client's letter coz the client is not a Malaysian and does't know how to read BM. Scratching my head, bring the task back to my seat and started to do. Damn..dunno how to translate alot sia...ask for help here and there from the cham-b students and luckily Kennie and Brian do help me alot. manage to finish it and pass it back to Susan. She was satisfied but ask me to correct a few more things before passing back to her the hard copy and sent her the soft copy as well.
After that went to see my supervisor again but again..she was not there...Chee Hong told me she was away..then when i went back to 18th floor..she was there...oh my....rupa rupa she was one of the LA that are responsible for tonight's charity night...then she saw me!! walao...she asked...have u donate to the charity's night? i was like...looking here and there...most of the cham-b's expression was " we all already put in just now, u cant run from it either d" ..haha..no choice lo...she was my supervisor...drag my super thin wallet and put in RM 2--with a force smile somemore..haha.
Had alot of chat with Jane today coz she is my senior...she ask me to follow her to court for file searching on MONDAY!!! weee..was so happy....i ask the lawyer who pass the task to her...: can i follow? Shirley, the LA said..of course..but do tell ur supervisor first...^^
Knew an American attachment student today in LHAG...that guy is a first year student...but wonder y he travels to other place to do intern ....he said he wanna try abit here and there...but LHAG bias lo..dunno y he gets his own room.... even normal cham-b also didnt get..only senior cham-b gets a room.
Was called by Susan to search for one newspaper article again...she says her client just fax her an article and it is on wednesday newspaper..but the article is not in full and ask me to go find it...shitty..spend some time searching in the library and finally found it...
At 4pm, attended a talk by LHAG's partner, Mr Teh on " Loan documentation' i tried to mix in the talk although it is meant for new LA and cham-b.... walao..damn sien lo..didnt really understand...and i saw alot cham-b sitting behind was like half asleep ..hahahaha...damn funny la those seniors......
Thats all for the day..planned to go out tonight but dustbin was busy...SL was in indonesia...wanna ask Kho out but i think he needs sometime alone...will find him together with BH :) Kho, ganbatteh k? u can do it...
mixed feelings: i am confused myself, what should i do? whats the next move? Things are destined...whats urs will be urs.....I do not believe this previously..but now...thats the only thing i plan to rely on...

Went through a happy day today. The firm looks good, lawyers look friendly, and chambering students are helpful. Too bad i am the only internship student there. swt.....thought they take alot......
Knew Aurthur, a lawyer, jane & chrisy, chambering students, BT, Brian, Gene, Wani, kennie, christine, melissa, and alot more.... Kennie pass me a task today despite my supervisor says today is my 'free to walk around day' .....well, since this is the first day i am here and my purpose is to learn...of course took the task lo...hand me over to lawyer Tang to help him over on research on orphans law. Didnt really know how to do everything, luckily jane, BT and brian gave me some advice. Manage to summit to Tang before 5.30pm..haha....they were good ppl... love them so much...
Tomorrow my supervisor is going to gimme my own task....damn...hope it is not too tough..currently being placed in Insurance and banking department...honestly, i know ntg abt it...SERIOUS!!!!.... Hope i am a quick learner...if not sure kena screw kao kao...
